ATLANTA, GA) January 27, 2020: Praise the Maker (NYC Indie Awards; Anaheim IFF), the first film of the PTtheGospelSpitter Animation Project joins Clermont-Ferrand 2020. The film continues to perform well on the festival circuit with a commercial release set for later this year.
The animation project team includes director Ashante P.T. Stokes (Salvation RMX), animator Aaron Archie (Axe Cop) and editor and animation director Mark Drum (Prisoners).
The film features a soundtrack by Ashante P.T. Stokes performed as PTtheGospelSpitter.
Praise the Maker tells the story of two friends who take different approaches to the challenges of living in their urban neighborhood.
The film’s voice cast in addition to Ashante P.T. Stokes as PTtheGospelSpitter includes James Arthur Williams as Slim, JP Valenti as young distributor one and the voice on the phone; Neil Carr as young distributor three and fiend; and Ace Cross Crook as young distributor two and Slim’s girlfriend.
The film is produced by Serving the Peace in association with Rainbox, a French production group and with the post-production support of e3Media Post, a company established by Mark Drum.

PTtheGospelSpitter Set for Animation
PT the Gospel Spitter helms an animation project, the first of a two-part mini film concept music video.
Brussels-July 19, 2018- The Bad Boy of Gospel is animated. Ashante P.T. Stokes a/k/a PTtheGospelSpitter made the announcement at an event celebrating the July 25 premiere viewing in Madrid, Spain of his award-winning music mini film, Salvation RMX. Stokes, who made his breakout directorial debut with Salvation RMX, is the creative executive and writer for the yet to be titled music mini film animation project.
Serving the Peace is producing the new project and distribution will be with Withoutabox and Film Freeway to domestic and international film festivals while Juice Worldwide will handle digital platform placements.
Story details are still under wraps and a release date has yet to be set for the new project. Stokes is represented by Serving the Peace talent management and celebrity publicist CJ Carter. Salvation RMX is the audience choice award winner of the Gwinnett Center International Film Festival, finalist of the Miami Epic Film Festival and nominee for best short music of the Madrid International Film Festival, ES.
After searching worldwide, we are privileged to announce multimedia illustrator and animator, Aaron Archie has joined the PTtheGospelSpitter Animation Project Team. Aaron made an Atlanta to Los Angeles move to further his artistry and we are proud to have him onboard. Aaron has already begun character modeling and illustration from the initial storyboard and we are anxiously awaiting his concept of the project.
